Are professing Catholics saved and is ecumenism ever ok?

A quick answer to the post's question is no and no...

Why is that? God's word says so is the truthful answer.

Catholics embrace doctrines and practices that includes praying to Mary and calling men Father in a manner Jesus said we were not to do so. Those are not the only departurs from scripture that Catholics participate in but on those two alone hang enough damnable errors on that church's neck that there is no need to elaborate further, they are hung and dead. By these fruits alone we should know them.  If anyone professes to be Catholic it should be clear that they approve of and do the very things that God said not to do. They do not worship the one true living God of the Bible.  Having gone through a Catholic high school and four years at a Catholic University I saw these things first hand. It is demonic and not of God. The incessant babbling of their prayers to Mary (Hail Mary) should make any born again believer and student of God's word know that this is an abomination to God. Catholic by definition means universal so one cannot assume that anyone who has joined himself to the Catholic Church is immune from what the Bible states is the worship of false gods. One cannot yoke themselves with this unholy church and proclaim that they are saved by God. Catholic Origin: late Middle English: from Old French catholique or late Latin catholicus, from Greek katholikos ‘universal,’ from kata ‘with respect to’ + holos ‘whole.’ Insisting that we can at any level worship with or be yoked with Catholics for any reason is a dangerous concept that many professing Christians are participating in. This is called ecumenism. Ecumenism refers to efforts by Christians of different Church traditions to develop closer relationships and better understandings. The term is also often used to refer to efforts towards the visible and organic unity of different Christian denominations in some form (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ecumenism). Ecumenism is dangerous and should not be entertained even if it satisfies one's emotional or political agendas.  Just because it feels right does not mean it is right.

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. [22] Abstain from all appearance of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. Ephesians 5:11  Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Matthew 23:9  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

Holiness or Sinfulness?

“Holiness” and “Holy” are perhaps the most under-emphasized and rarely used words in the pulpits of modern Christianity. If and when they are referred to, they are typically watered down by man-made d
