I once was blind but now I see...

Years ago I thought we were far away from Matthew 24:24 where the elect could be deceived by false christs and prophets.

I was under a great delusion myself at that time as I could not see that this had already been going on now for centuries.

It has gone for so long that people like me were brainwashed (deceived) by the corrupt traditions and teachings from the likes of Augustine, Jerome, Calvin, Darby, Scofield, Wescott , Hort, ad nauseum.

I was like a horse with blinders on allowing myself to be led down the path of deception by other men who were either blind themselves by the same process or men who were purposely leading others astray. While all will be held accountable for being part of this process I believe that the ones who are purposely leading others astray will yield the greater judgment if that is even possible.

I praise God that His Spirit moved me to dig deeper into the Word and to do so without the traditional blinders on.

I truly was blind but now I see.

I pray that God continues to open my eyes to all of the lies and that He helps me encourage others to seek the same.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matthew 24:24

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. 2 Peter 1:19-21

Question, do you worship the day? I guess the follow up qualifying question would be, are you a humanist who worships yourself? Seems that these are odd and hard hitting questions to self-professing C

People today are so blinded and misled by a false interpretation and application of Romans 13:1-2 that they roll over and say nothing as sin erupts unchallenged all around them. The mistake they make
