What does preaching the "Gospel of Grace" mean exactly to you?
Paul taught grace was not to be misused. “Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid…”
Be careful in assuming that preaching the Gospel of Grace means holding back the truths of God in order to not hurt someone's feelings. There is much more to the full councel of God which includes grace but there is much more…
Floating vs 24 in Acts 20 will leave a person with a very empty message when it comes to the Gospel of Grace.
Vs 25 says Paul preached the kingdom of God and Vs 27 says he declared all the councel of God. This includes everything in scriptures, even the harsh messages that people need to hear the most. Without knowing their depravity before a holy and righteous God the message of grace and of the cross is just foolishness to those who are perishing.
24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.
26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. Acts 20: 24-27
If a person truly believes that Heaven and Hell is real and God's plan as laid out in His Word is true then they will step around people's feelings and tell them that there is wrath to come if they do not repent and turn to God. They will preach the kingdom and full councel of God.
