Your priorities, are they selfish or selfless?

Christians in America today, for the most part, are typically driven to work within politics to protect what is theirs over the need to save other people's souls. They demand protection and enforcement of their moral ideologies, their property, their borders, their's and their loved ones lives while the souls headed for hell are but an afterthought.

I say this based on countless conversations I have either been a part of or have witnessed in social media and in the news over the recent years.

We need to give more compassionate efforts towards soul winning regarding the lives of people with who are headed to hell instead of fighting them at every turn. I am not saying that there is anything inherently wrong with people wanting to affect politically things such as moral ideologies, borders, etc., I am saying the current priorities are not set in the order of what the Bible says is "Christian".

Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Philippians 2:4

Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Jude 1:21-23

Based on what the Bible says in light of what we see being played out here in the modern church it is obvious that many people need to change their priorities.
