Foul mouthed Christian, there is no such thing...

Do you use obscenities in spoken and/or written form? Do you use social settings, either real or virtual to communicate with corrupt language? Someone just did this on Facebook and then went on to state that he worshipped God and that he went to church every Sunday. He was challenged regarding his hypocrisy. I aksed him, "So you worship God with a mouth like that?" I went on to say, "God's word is calling you out...." It wasn't me calling him out but but instead it really was God's word. Too many folks today are like this person, they profess to worship God but their hearts are far from Him...their mouths are proof of this... ...their words definitely testify to this truth. I told him that he needed to repent and get right with God and to stop playing the hypocrite. If this is you as well then God's word has something to say to you just the same.

In all reality, their are no foul mouthed Christians. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. [35] A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. [36] But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. [37] For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Matthew 12:34-37 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Ephesians 4:29 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Colossians 3:8 He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction. Proverbs 13:3 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. James 1:26 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. James 3:10

Holiness or Sinfulness?

“Holiness” and “Holy” are perhaps the most under-emphasized and rarely used words in the pulpits of modern Christianity. If and when they are referred to, they are typically watered down by man-made d
