Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

Are the things you are doing in every day life, including your worship, acceptable unto the Lord? Are you comfortable with excusing the things you do as being ok with God even though you have never truly tried to prove that these things were acceptable to Him? Or are you instead busy justifying something you know is wrong as per God's standard! The Bible tells us clearly that we should be diligent in doing so otherwise... Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying, If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No. Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean. Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the Lord ; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean. Haggai 2:11-14 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny Him , being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. Titus 1:15-16 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:1-2 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. Ephesians 5:8-10 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. Ephesians 5:15-17 So prove what is acceptable unto the Lord instead of trying to justify what isn't...

Holiness or Sinfulness?

“Holiness” and “Holy” are perhaps the most under-emphasized and rarely used words in the pulpits of modern Christianity. If and when they are referred to, they are typically watered down by man-made d
