As Christians we are called to be the light in the world and the salt of this earth.
Among the many uses of light and salt one use stands out among the rest; they expose and sanitize imperfections and bacteria.
This irritant can be ignored or we can treat the infection now before it becomes worse. Both physically and spiritually.
As for me; I know I am not always right. But God's word is, and as a lamp to my and a light to my path, His truth can be known: His name is Jesus, and only through a genuine relationship with the Christ can Truth be known and life lived.
